Mini Meadow for Spring (12 Plants)

This kit includes 12 Wisconsin native plants that bloom from April to June, providing valuable nectar and pollen for spring pollinators. All plants are 3 feet tall or less.

Plants included:

• 2 x Zizia aurea (golden Alexanders)
• 2 x Penstemon hirsutus (hairy beardtongue)
• 2 x Tradescantia ohiensis (Ohio spiderwort)
• 6 x Koeleria macrantha (June grass) - ground layer

How to plant: For a meadow look, scatter flowers informally throughout a ground layer of June grass. Plant densely: about 12 inches from center to center, keeping all plants at least 8 inches from the edge of the bed. Covers about 24 square feet.
