A woodland spring ephemeral with showy blue bell-shaped flowers. Blooms for weeks in early spring and goes dormant in summer. Slowly forms large colonies.

Note: Spring ephemerals like Virginia bluebell go dormant in summer and the leaves will die back. Keep the soil moist around the new plant for 1-2 months so the roots don’t dry out, as you would any new transplant. It will re-emerge next spring.
