This excellent pollinator plant is on the tall side, but its strong stem rarely needs staking. Host plant for the ruby tiger moth, three-lined flower moth, and several others. Rabbits may nibble on the leaves, but it’s not their favorite. Frequently included in rain gardens. Spreads by rhizome to form colonies.
