Also known as stiff coreopsis or stiff tickseed, this cheery yellow flower supports many native bees and other pollinators. It is also a host plant for the wavy-lined emerald moth. Thrives in poor soil and spreads quickly by seed and rhizome, making it useful for controlling hillside erosion.
