Carex normalis (greater straw sedge)

An adaptable sedge with grass-like leaves, this plant forms clumps and spreads slowly. Tolerates occasional flooding and a wide range of sunlight. An excellent choice for shady rain gardens.

Also called spreading oval sedge.
