Also known as false chamomile, these prolific white blooms are a lovely complement to asters and goldenrods in fall. The nectar and pollen support a wide variety of pollinators, including a specialist bee (Perdita boltoniae). Naturally found in moist meadows and low-lying areas, it tolerates occasional flooding and also makes a good choice for rain gardens. Spreads moderately by rhizome but is not considered aggressive.
