This sweetly-scented annual has seeds that latch on to passing creatures, but they don't bite! They do reseed, however, so make sure you have room for lots of cheerful yellow flowers. Native to wetlands, it prefers moist areas and makes a good addition to larger rain gardens. Host plant for the dainty sulphur butterfly. At least 15 specialist native bees rely on plants in the Bidens genus. (Source: NWF Keystone Native Plants)
